At some point during your muscle-building workout program, you'll see your progress slow down, especially as your body gets used to your weight training exercises and routine. So, the best way to take your muscle-building workout to the next level is to change it up.

I do not Just means changing the exercises and by that I mean changing everything, including the way you usually train. Fortunately, there are just a few simple changes you need to make every few weeks in order to advance your muscle building. This will shock and stimulate your muscles, encouraging your body to build muscle faster.

Here are my top 10 tips to take your muscle building to the next level:

1

Changing exercises - This is the most obvious thing, but still some people don't change their exercises. Change workouts and substitute exercises at least every 8 weeks. such as changing legs Squat press machine. This will target new muscle groups and require different form.

2

Doing heavier and fewer reps - reducing your reps and adding weight will mean your body has to use more force to lift the weight, resulting in more strength and ultimately better muscle mass income. If you normally work in the 10-15 rep range, try reducing to 4-8 reps over a few weeks, with the last 1-2 reps you train to failure.

 3

. Reverse Your Workouts - Instead of doing the exercises in the same order, completely reverse the order and change the exercises slightly for each workout. this Meaning you will be the strongest in the exercises you usually do. For example, to change up your workout slightly, use an incline bench press instead of a flat bench press.

4

. Shorter rest periods – the less time you give your body to recover between sets, the harder your muscles have to work next group. This can be harder than you think, so make sure you maintain proper form and lighten the weights if you can't.

5

Do Drop Sets - Drop sets start with a reasonable weight (after warming up) and keep working through the weight loss until you Can't do it anymore. For example, you start with 40kg barbell curls, do 8 reps, then reduce to 35kg, try to do 8 more reps, then lose 5kg, repeat the same movement. You'll be amazed at how quickly energy seeps through your muscles, until even the lightest weight feels like a ton!

6

Do Supersets - A superset is when you do 2 (or more) exercises in a row in one circuit. It's also great for boosting your metabolism and should make you sweat a lot.

This is my favorite method for two reasons; it speeds up my workouts and my muscles get a really good burn.

7

. Split Your Muscle Workout - If you haven't done a split routine, I recommend you do so. If you're in the gym every day, you can do legs one day and upper body the next, or even split your routine into different body parts.

8

. Use a stability ball - don't shy away Stability balls as they allow for a variety of exercises that require excellent balance and strict form, which in itself is great for your core.

9

. Gradually add weight - This is the easiest and most common of all muscle growth techniques. Remember, if you don't add You gain weight on a regular basis you don't get stronger so you don't gain muscle mass you just keep your muscles as they are now.

10

. Switching up weight training equipment - This is another easy way that is often overlooked. You may prefer to do barbell bench presses But switching to dumbbells works a different kind of muscle.

Change is key. all in all. Add some of the above variations to your muscle-building workouts on a regular basis, and you'll see consistent muscle growth and a dramatic improvement in your overall fitness. if one of method doesn't work for you, then don't do it, but try mixing workouts often. To reiterate my first and most important point, I personally change up my entire workout routine every 8-12 weeks after a week of rest to allow my body to fully recover before returning to a new session exercise regime.
